White decor (well almost!)

Well, we had the baths the other day, but love this.....oooh!

White with a bit of beige...love...

More greige/beige than white, but spectacular!

I have managed to create a mainly white heavenly bedroom, but it only stays perfect about four hours a week, if that. Maybe one day when it looks perfect, I will take some photos and show you, but don't hold your breath!

Mirror, mirror on the wall or the floor?

this is the one that got me started thinking about how I feel about floor mirrors...

and this one you already saw! but it's worth reshowing

While the narcissus in all of us cannot get too many mirrors in our decor, isn't there some Feng Shui that comes into play also? Regardless, the addition of an enormous oversized almost floor (to ceiling) mirror always add a great deal of glamour, light and a sense of exceptional space, and I love it, in every room!

tub delight!

Not sure why am thinking about having a nice big soaking bath, but no doubt those of you who are getting bombarded with inches and inches of snow can think of nothing more luxurious and necessary! So I gathered up a few of the most fab bain de salon I could find for you. The mirror element is accidental as I was also looking for rooms incorporating extra large mirrors, but they work here too! The last image is from Ralph Lauren's apartment in New York as it appeared in Elle Decor, how 'bout that view? Unbelievable!

So you know I was (well, am still having) that white with the turquoise thingy, I don't think it will pass for a while, but I also had that lilac thingy, and now I am torn between both....gotta keep looking...and then which room gets the treatment?

Although we speak the same language, English, you wouldn't know if from the latest Brit import, Law and Order UK. This crime drama based on the Dick Wolf versions, is loaded with britishisms, some so obscure that they require subtitles! In addition, there is darling Detective Mattie (who always gets lingering stares from the females, just watch!) and Daniel Craig look-a-like, Crown Prosecutor, James Steel. Lovely rooms....

I don't know what it is, but I just love me a gorgeous, almost white/cream room with just a touch of robin's egg blue, or even a splash of Tiffany turquoise blue. It is just so lovely to me, and I am sure I have included these before...so forgive me if I did, but that just proves how much I really love them!
