Papercuts

These unbelievably intricate paper cut outs are the masterpieces of Beatrice Coron, born in Lyon, France, but living in New York since 1984

I know we see papercut art all the time, but the work here is mind boggling, I can only begin to imagine the amount of time, patience, and of course, mad skills required for even one of these masterpieces. I love how she calls them all kinds of cool stuff too, like the shoe one is "All Good Shoes go to Heaven!"

Bayden Goddard Design

This magnificent treasure is Albatross House on Australia's Gold Coast(where else?) I love how the trees are incorporated into the structure, and of course the pool, and look at the ocean right outside the living room! Courtesy Bayden Goddard Design.

Ocean Emerald Luxury Yacht

Well, seeing as we are always looking for even more loveliness to bring you, how 'bout luxury architecture and exquisite design on a yacht! Wowee! This Ocean Emerald Yacht from Yacht Plus and designed by Foster and Partners leaves me breathless! About 15 million euros and you're in!

D-Bros Fruity note pads

How super cool are these realistic looking fruits? Like little edible fruits, these paper creations by DBros are available here for about $20 each. You can even order a whole box of six, just like real fruit! I just love how cute they are, I don't think I would want to use any of the pages though and ruin them!

Rudi Jass

Once again, I was stumbling around the internet and look what goodies I found.
Water is one thing, but with the sculpture of Rudi Jass, unbelievable!

"In his Melbourne studio German-born sculptor Rudi Jass creates water features and sculptures characterised by clean flowing lines, elegant forms and timeless design">. Go visit here if you have a minute (or ten) and delight in his genius!

Thomas Kite Design

I don't even what I was trolling for online when I stumbled across the work of Seattle based artisan, Thomas Kite. Besides the glass work here (just for you Dar) his body of work runs the gamut, go check it out here.
Just in case you were wondering, the first image is the location of his studio!

The second is boubouteatime, a lovely playful place, check her out! but brush up on your francais first!

Seaside and beachy stuff

Seeing as how this is fourth of July weekend, many lucky people will be enjoying times with family and friends, many of them at beach or seaside locations, to I thought it fitting to bring some beach inspired goodies to share! Happy Fourth!

From the top down, Mesi Jilly White Shell Ring, $320, Spike Shell Necklace from Conscious $325 and I think quite possibly the loveliest, L'objet's coral napkin rings, $98, all available at Eva's vivre, as well as a ton of other fab stuff, as always!

1st dibs

No doubt many of you have discovered 1st dibs, a great online resource for incredible decor and fashion related (pricey) lovelies. I subscribe to them just to torture myself with things I could never ever own, but they make me feel better! A new addition is
dragonette a store located on La Cienaga Boulevard in L.A. where this comes from. Be sure to pop over and have a drool!

Any if that isn't enough to wet your whistle, go to
Here and see all kinds of incredible trinkets and treasure!
