Exquisite Photos
Michael Alberstat's range of photographic imagery runs the gamut from babies to ballrooms, and everything else in between. The images here are just a small sample of his brilliant work. They are so inspirational to a wannabe photog like myself, I am busting to run out and take a million pictures, hoping I could capture just ONE as lovely as his! See more.

Cargo Scooter solves luggage dilemma!
I didn't think having a scooter would ever work for me, heck, I take four bags when I go on an overnight trip, but this little number from Elliot Ortiz offers a nifty solution for pack rats like me! The scooter has a cargo hold built into the main body where all kinds of stuff could be stashed. Me, I want the pink one!

Chanel's Heavenly Couture Collection
I don't normally post quite so many pictures here, but I was so taken aback with the breathtaking collection, I could hardly stop myself from posting all of the over 60 incredible looks. At the latest house of Chanel haute couture collection for Spring-Summer 2009, which was held January 27 at the Pavilion Cambon Capucines, Paris, Karl Lagerfeld truly channelled Chanel herself with these confections of loveliness. In keeping with the black and white aesthete that was Coco's, this collection is divine! and it makes to want to visit Paree again! Notice the simple white eyeshadow with the black liner and the white nail polish!
After I finished drooling over these incredible black and white creations, I saw the pictures of the white paper decor that showcased the Pavilion, made up of 7000 handmade daises, roses (of course), leaves and petals which took 4800 hours to assemble. How fantastic is that? See all the looks and fashion show

Silver Treasures
At first I was taken with this lovely and unique ring, and when I went over to Etsy I found the lovely crocheted earrings! I didn't even know you could crochet silver, but how sweet are they, from San Francisco based loveandhappiness.

I am in love with the lovely, lovely wearable designs by Nicole Lauandos-Meier of BelaBrazlian Designs. I am hard pressed to pick just one favorite!

Lacy Architecture for Indian High Rise
Symhomes MK1 by Piercy Conner Architects created this winning design for the Living Steel design contest. The project is located in the West Bangor City of Kolkata, India. The lacy exterior is part of the engineering for keeping interior temperatures cool in area where temps can reach 111 degree F. I think it's quite lovely, and a great improvement on utilitarian high rise construction.

Brrr! It's Cold! Very Cold!
I know it's not supposed to be cold in Florida, and I know many of you are freezing for some days already, but these are a little bit freaks! With an unusual hard freeze the sprinklers at a local Home Depot still went off, freezing all around them and ending up with icicles on the trees! Pretty neat!
Cloud Visions
I love clouds, in any shape or form, they are one of my favorite things since I was little. Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec’s ‘Clouds’ for Kvadrat are one of the more nebulous winners in Wallpaper’s 2009 Design Awards. Victorious in our ‘Best use of textiles’ category, See Video

Nasa Visit
What a great weekend we had! Visiting Orlando is always fun! This visit was special as it included a trip to NASA's Kennedy Space Center. What a great place to visit! The whole place is inspirational and reminds us of a time when American really was admired and respected by the whole world. Let's hope that we can get that sense of pride and accomplishment back with the new administration and the changes they promise!

Fairy Tale Themed Hotels-Grand Daddy's Goldilocks Trailer
Though I personally was always a bit scared by the whole Goldilocks tale, but not as much as Little Red Riding Hood freaked me out, this theme hotel suite in Cape Town certainly would be an interesting place to spend the night. See more
