Illustrator -Michael Sanderson

The genius talent responsible for these coveted images is Michael Sanderson. Born in Colorado Springs, CO, Michael began drawing at the age of 2, keeping up this practice throughout his whole life, drawing every chance he’d get, to the dismay of nearly all his teachers.

At age 18, with a miniscule GPA of 1.3, and a steady portfolio of work he dropped out of high school and set out to study at The School Of The Art Institute Of Chicago. With hopes of majoring in fashion design, only to find that they too, do not approve of excessive amounts of drawing in class. Instead of drawing produce with charcoal he opted to drop out once more in pursuit of a career in illustration.

Since Spring 2007 Michael has been an active illustrator in the world of fashion/lifestyle and corporate illustration. His clients such as Victoria’s Secret®, and many Tokyo based clients.

New found Love!

Never having been a great lover of ice cream, in fact, I typically avoid it, it is with both pleasure and just a smidge of dismay, that I am forced to share my latest passion/indulgence/discovery, with all of you foodies out there! It is all my good friend Judy's fault, being the good Italian gal that she is, she had to have her favorite dessert a few weeks ago, and of course, she made me taste it too! Well, being as the need for her to keep her girlish figure, Tinki doesn't indulge in ice cream, even on the hottest day of the summer! (Mind you, chocolate is quite another story!) it was only polite to sample the confection offered!

For those of you have not been there, trust me, I am now the proud new owner of a tawdry new addiction (as if I didn't have enough of those already!), and I have a feeling it is, as they say, going to end in tears! The local gelato parlor is very, very far away from the house, (thank God!) so visiting it whenever I get a craving is out of the question, (have you seen the price of gas lately?). However, there is an unbelievable brand talenti available at one of our area Publix supermarkets. Double Dark Chocolate and if you will excuse me, I will see y'all later! If you don't believe me, or want to try it yourself, look for it at the local store, or order online, and then let me know if it isn't heaven on a spoon!

Bouquet Chair for Moroso

Just loving the cuteness of this amazing and lovely, design by Tokujin Yoshioka. The idea for "Bouquet" came from the installation he created last October for Moroso's New York showroom. "Using about 30,000 paper tissues to recreate a cloud-like atmosphere, Bouquet makes people who sit on it happy, just as a bouquet makes the person who receives it happy. The vibrant, delicate colours trigger different sensations in each of us.”
"The Bouquet chair "blooms" on a slim, chrome-metal stem that blossoms with white or delicately-coloured "petals" made of hand-folded fabric squares sewn one by one, with great care and infinite patience, to completely cover the internal surface of the egg-shaped, wrap-around shell."
I gotta get me one!

Geoffrey Bradfield Design

Multiple award-winning, New York-based, Geoffrey Bradfield came to my attention with one of his gorgeous designs appeared on a HGTV show that I Tivoed a while back. Upon checking further into his body of work, I can truly say it is nothing short of spectacular! I absolutely love the romantic, old Hollywood feel he brings to his design.
Even their office is housed in the gorgeous Park Avenue white building.
The incredible indoor pool is at the Equinox Hotel in Manchester, Vermont!
Other images are Washington DC and New York!
In addition to residential excellence, check out the commerical projects and the fab furniture and rugs for Stark.
