Papercuts

These unbelievably intricate paper cut outs are the masterpieces of Beatrice Coron, born in Lyon, France, but living in New York since 1984

I know we see papercut art all the time, but the work here is mind boggling, I can only begin to imagine the amount of time, patience, and of course, mad skills required for even one of these masterpieces. I love how she calls them all kinds of cool stuff too, like the shoe one is "All Good Shoes go to Heaven!"

  1. Amazing work - I think I would go crazy trying to do something so intricate - or cross-eyed!

  2. Those are great! I wonder how long it takes her to do just one?
