House in Nova Lima by Morato Arquitetura

This one is for just for you Caio!
Located on top of a hillside overlooking an immense valley framed with a chain of mountains, this beauty is in the state of Minas Gerais, Brazil. The design is influenced by the language of Portuguese colonial architecture and uses manual techniques of construction.

The place chosen for the house was determined by the generous native landscape in the surroundings. The reference to the Brazilian modernist architecture is maintained.

Lovely!

  1. I'm impressed. It looks so precarious and fragile, any wind or earthquake could shift it off its perch.
