Apparently there are over 39 different species of Lavender.  They are all just gorgeous, and can't you just smell all that purple loveliness from these photos!

Signs of Spring!

 While there might not be too many other signs of spring, these lovelies appeared in the front yard. Enjoy! I love how the pink match my blog, kinda?!

Spring cleaning and porch living!

So, it must that the weather is finally warming up, but this weekend saw an attack of the spring cleaning monster, and after completelygutting the master closet (long overdue, trust me), the severely neglected back porch got a complete makeover (well a thorough cleanout).  In fact, when it was all clean and shiny, I drug out my armchair and tea tray, and wrote my blog right from the newly vamped spot.

Admittedly, it doesn't resemble these two glamorous examples, but it is once again usable, comfortable and will see a whole lot more of me, now it is clean and tidy.  (Until the broiling hot summer arrives that is!)

No doubt I am about the last one to ooh and aah over the fabulousness that is now available at Anthropoligie's new wedding/bridal site, BHLDN (don't you love the text style spelling) clever! Although I don't plan on having another wedding myself, I think it is wonderful that many of the ladies who I will be taking photos of at their weddings have this treasure trove to go shop at!  love, love, love !!!
