Watermelon Festival Delights

Well Blog lovers...it wouldn't be May in the south without a tiny bit of Watermelon fever to make it really feel like summer is just around the corner...

and while these might be the most juiciest and (delicious) peaches around...and not watermelons...

we were in for a real treat today...

as well as fresh veggies to spare...

 Fresh hot peppers

 and squash..

 and fresh juicy lipsmacking watermelon... piles of it...

and everyone got to enjoy their share...

all in all...just another great day in the south  in the summer...

Don't you just love these....I mean I certainly don't recall any pink typewriters in my typing class, though it is so hard to think that we pounded away on those manual keys...I mean at least an electric golf ball typewriter was a tremendous improvement...How did we ever manage?
