Having been (at last) hired to photograph a local wedding, (bargain basement, rookie rates apply), I can only hope that I can capture at least one image as fantastic as one of 2009's greatest wedding photogs, Apertura (love that name!) manages to do with every frame they shoot! Love, love the candid and special moments they seem to capture with every shot! They have loads more lovely, special images over at their website, Stay awhile, it is so worth it, (I was there a Loooooonnnnnnng time! but maybe mute the tunes! Personally, I prefer my web visits unaccompanied by tunes!!!! but that's just me!!! oxo
Located on top of a hillside overlooking an immense valley framed with a chain of mountains, this beauty is in the state of Minas Gerais, Brazil. The design is influenced by the language of Portuguese colonial architecture and uses manual techniques of construction.
The place chosen for the house was determined by the generous native landscape in the surroundings. The reference to the Brazilian modernist architecture is maintained.
I know y'all saying to urself, what happened to the tinkilish? Well, a little bit of a lot! The first image is an original black and white watercolor image that was chosen to be displayed along with a whole bunch of "professional" local artists (with much controversy), and the second was an un retouched photo image I took when I back in the UK with Mummy! and was chosen as one of only two photo images that were selected for the show! and the last is a shot of one of my faves, a butterfly! So enjoy, sorry for not posting as per usual. Have some architecture for tomorrow, and enjoy these, there are a lot more to come!!!!!!and I have been making websites for all and sundry!!! so watch for links to those fortunate souls. oxo tinki
